What do I need to get a good FCL shipping quote?
Once you get in contact with us we will ask you for the below information. Providing this information accurately will ensure that we can provide you with the best possible FCL quote that matches all you requirements. – Collection & Delivery details – Weight of goods- Measurements (length x width x height) – A copy of your commercial invoice – Value of the goods. Once all of this information is provided we will then get to work finding the right carrier that suits your requirements and specific lead times. Once a route has been confirmed along with the collection and delivery points we will then book space with the carrier and provide you with confirmation of your booking.

THC (Terminal Handling Charge) – This is a nominal fee charged by the terminal. Document fee – This is a nominal fee charged by the carrier. Customs Clearance – We can also take care of this for you. Be aware that a shipping quotation may include origin charges (such as consolidation fee, fuel and currency adjustment factors and Ocean BoL fee): but it will not contain the many potential destination charges.
What paperwork is involved in FCL shipping?
Ocean Bill of lading (B/L or BoL) is a receipt for cargo in transit and a contract between the exporter and an ocean carrier for transpotation and delivery of goods to a specified foreign destination. Commercial Invoice is a bill for the goods from the seller to the buyer.
